7. Touch screen handling
Touchscreens made of glass are prone to breakage, scratches or other damage. Be careful when handling to prevent injury to other objects or people. The following are general operating guidelines:
• When handling the panel, it is recommended to wear gloves to prevent fingerprints, dirt or particles on the glass, and to avoid personal injury due to the sharp edges of the glass.
• When handling the panel, hold the edge of the glass with the Film side up to avoid scratches or dirt on the Film.
• When assembling the glass panel, do not bend or twist the panel with excessive force; this may cause the panel to deform.
• When working on the FPC or COF, excessive tension or tension should be prohibited or avoided.
• The tail should not be folded or bent too much during assembly. A minimum bend radius of 3mm is recommended. The touch panel must never be fixed by FPC or COF.
• Do not stack the touch screen once it has been removed from its original packaging, the edges may scratch
. • Do not stack heavy objects on the touch screen.
