Qile offers a wide range of Projected Capacitive (PCAP) touch screens (also known as PCT), with a variety of enhancements, sizes and others options. We offer in-house design, engineering services, firmware tuning and other options to optimize the final touch solution for your end use.
Advantages: Projected capacitive touch screens offer superior touch performance, optical quality, lifespan, resistance to damage and other considerations. Our projected capacitive touch screens can support multiple gestures and up to 50 simultaneous touch points.
Application: Projected capacitive touch screens are commonly used in appliances, POS and retail, legal and amusement gaming, in-vehicle, industrial terminals, etc.

Glass + Glass (G + G)The panel is made of glass functional sheet and glass cover, which has good optical transparency, strength and light transmittance. It is one of the most common panel structures and is especially suitable for applications requiring good optical performance and high strength.
The cover consists of scratch-resistant glass (average hardness >7H), which can also be heat-treated or replaced by special glass such as Gorilla or Dragon Trail for better performance. For extreme applications, the cover plate thickness is up to 6 mm.
Glass + Film (G1F)
The panel consists of an inner PET film optically bonded to an outer glass cover. Lighter and thinner than GG for applications where weight and thickness are critical.
The cover consists of scratch-resistant glass (average hardness >7H), which can also be heat-treated or replaced by special glass such as Gorilla or Dragon Trail for better performance. For extreme applications, the cover plate thickness is up to 6 mm.
Glass+Film+Film (GFF)
The panel consists of 2 layers of PET film optically bonded to the outer glass cover plate. Similar strength to GG, but lighter and thinner than GG. Suitable for applications where weight and thickness requirements are high and are stronger and more impact resistant than G1F.
The cover consists of scratch-resistant glass (average hardness >7H), which can also be heat-treated or replaced by special glass such as Gorilla or Dragon Trail for better performance. For extreme applications, the cover plate thickness is up to 6 mm.
Plastic + Glass (P + G )
Comprising a plastic outer layer and a glass sensor layer, the panel is very cost-competitive in a smaller size and is lighter than an equivalent GG construction, but the plastic is prone to scratching. Typically suitable for small size applications where safety and cost are a concern.
According to product requirements, the cover plate can be composed of various plastic materials (PET, PC, composite materials, etc.), and the hardness can be between 2-4H. Although the plastic material is soft and easily scratched, it ensures no safety hazards due to glass shards, reduces costs and lead times, and improves forming and screen printing capabilities.
