    • Capacitive Touch Panel for Conference Meeting
    • 75 inch capacitive touch panel
  • Projected Capacitive Touch Screen

Projected capacitive touch screens use an electrostatic field created by an electrical current that passes through a grid of electrodes formed or etched on the sensor surface from a conductive material. When a finger or other conductive object interferes with the electric field projected by the screen over its surface and changes the capacitance of the electric field, the system will register a touch. The screen's controller can then calculate the touch position from the X/Y coordinates, and most controllers support multiple touch detection and touch gestures (pinch to zoom, zoom in, rotate, etc.).

    Advantages

Compared with other touchscreen technologies, projected capacitive touchscreens have the advantages of superior optical performance, long service life, and resistance to damage. They are widely used in consumer electronics, home appliances, retail, and gradually replace resistive and SSAW screens, widely used in commercial, industrial and medical, etc.

    Optional Customization

    • Panel Size

    • Multi-touch capability – up to 50 touch points, plus gesture support (pinch to zoom, rotate, etc.).

    • High accuracy, sensitivity and linearity without periodic calibration.

    • Applicable to both COF and COB controller manufacturing processes.

    • Offers full screen performance processing and optical processing.

    • Various options for cover material, decoration, etc.

    • Various IC and hardware options.

    • Internal dedicated software engineers provide firmware debugging support.

    Glass Glass - GG

GG/Glass Glass capacitive touch screen panel consists of a glass sensor layer optically bonded to a glass cover lens, it offers excellent optical clarity, strength and light transmittance. One of the most common panel structures, especially for applications with a need for excellent optics and ruggedization.

The glass cover lens is composed of scratch resistant glass (average hardness of >7H), which can also be heat treated or replaced with specialized materials like Gorilla Glass or Dragontrail for even higher performance. The lens can be up to 6mm thick for extreme applications.

    Glass Film – G1F

GFF/Glass Film capacitive touch screen panels are comprised of an inner layer of PET ITO film (the touch sensor), optically bonded to an outer glass cover lens; it offers a thinner and lighter stack up than GG touch screen panel. For applications where thickness and weight are premium.

The glass cover lens is composed of scratch resistant glass (average hardness of >7H), which can also be heat treated or replaced with specialized materials like Gorilla Glass or Dragontrail for even higher performance. The lens can be up to 6mm thick for extreme applications.

    Glass Film Film – GFF

GFF/Glass Film Film capacitive touch screen panel is comprised of two inner layers of PET ITO film (the touch sensor), optically bonded to an outer glass cover lens, it offers a thinner and lighter stack up than GG touch screen panel with similar strength. For applications where thickness and weight are premium, but additional strength or impact resistance are needed than what G1F capacitive touch screen panel offers.

The cover lens is composed of scratch resistant glass (average hardness of >7H), which can also be heat treated or replaced with specialized materials like Gorilla Glass or Dragontrail for even higher performance. The lens can be up to 6mm thick for extreme applications.

    Plastic Glass – PG

PG/Plastic Glass panel is comprised of an outer layer of plastic cover lens and an inner glass sensor layer, it is very cost competitive at smaller sizes and is lighter than an equivalent GG touch screen panel, however the plastic lens is prone to scratching. Generally for smaller applications where safety or cost is crucial.

The cover lens can be composed of a variety of plastic materials (PET, PC, Composite, etc.) depending on the product requirements. Hardness can be between 2-4H. Although the plastic lens is soft and prone to scratching, the plastic material ensures that there is no hazard from broken glass, reduces cost and lead time, and improves forming and silk screening capabilities.
